Planet Research
Third graders will use books, encyclopedias, databases and videos to gather information on one of the planets. Students will practice their note taking skills and practice citing their sources to create a bibliography. At the completion of their research students will be asked to share the information learned by creating a project (poster, slideshow, brochure, etc.) to teach others about the planet.
Students must use at least one print source (book or encyclopedia) and an online database to take notes.
